  2. defenately you can bosst a disel engine but if you mean that you want to put a turbo on gasoline engine that you take it out of disel engine it might be dangerious to do that if the turbo is bigger than 76mm so it can made big punch of boost if no way to put it you must check your boost during you do this also just keep eye on a bopst gauge and look out for the waste gate and make sure doesn’t go more than 5 psi of your gas engine is a stock internals and have a hogh compression pistons then you can’t boosted or you could blow it

    mostly it depends on how much the engine can accommodate extra pressure . Some engines can accommodate the high pressure caused by turbo , while in some other engine you need to change and modify many parts.
    So this process varies from on engine to another
